Placing An Order
While shopping online is simple, not all sites
have the same order placement and checkout procedures. Heres
a brief overview of our procedures. Youll find more
information on each screen.
Selecting an Item
When you click on an item, youre taken to an item
detail page with more information on the item. The item
detail page lists price, allows you to choose color, style
and size options, provides availability, and gives any special
instructions.
Out of Stock If an item
is currently out of stock, expected ship date is shown on
the item detail page. You can order an out-of-stock item.
The item is charged to your credit card when it ships.
Drop Ship Allow 2-3 weeks
delivery for items that are shipped by the manufacturer.
Once you have made all choices, click add
to cart and continue shopping or check out.
Personalizing an Item
After youve selected an item and added it to your
cart, you will be prompted for the information needed to
personalize it.
Viewing My Cart
To see what youve added to your cart, click my
cart in the upper right-hand corner of the page.
Personalized Items Click
on View Personalization to see how youve
personalized the item. To change personalization, delete
the item from your cart (click on the trash can icon to
the right of the item listing), and shop for it again.
Gift Wrap Click on
if you would like gift-wrap for an item. Youll be
able to select a wrapping style and fill out a request for
a hand-written gift card. If gift-wrap is not available,
youll receive a message to that effect. Gift-wrap
will appear in your shopping cart as a separate charge.
Delete an Item Click
on
to delete an item from your cart. If you delete a gift-wrapped
item, you must also delete the separate charge for gift-wrapping.
Checking Out
To checkout, click at the checkout button when
youÕre in the my cart page, or click on the
checkout icon in the upper right-hand corner
of the page. The checkout pages (2) allow you to specify
billing and shipping information (including multiple ship-to
addresses), and payment and shipping methods.
Note: When you
return to the site to make additional purchases, you can
use the easy checkout process. Click Returning Customer
on the checkout page, enter your last name and password,
and your primary shipping and billing information is entered
automatically.

Web Browser
Requirements
Our site is designed for version 4 or
greater browsers and may not work with older browsers.
You SHOULD UPDATE if you are using:
SECURE CHECKOUT NOTE: Our site
uses industry-standard SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) encryption
to protect the confidentiality of your personal information.
Some older web browsers have a digital certificate
that ensures secure, authenticated online transactions.
This certificate was set by the manufacturers to expire
on December 31, 1999. Like a credit card that has expired,
you will need to get a new card before you can
make additional purchases.
If you are using an older browser, you
will receive a warning box indicating that the SSL certificate
has expired. You can still checkout securely if you click
continue, but this message will appear whenever
you connect to a secure page, on any web site, until
you upgrade your browser software. This has nothing to do
with the Sensational Beginnings site.

Error Messages and
Other Situations
Is your cart suddenly empty?
Since our site does not currently use cookies to keep track
of your cart, if you leave the site, you will lose your
cart. We apologize for the inconvenience.
If you receive an error message:
Our site may have lost contact with our
mainframe.
This may occur during peak shopping hours, our late in the
night during a scheduled or unscheduled maintenance period.
Something during the shopping process went
wrong.
If you were in the middle of shopping and are viewing this
message, please click the view cart button at the top of
your screen. If you can see the contents of your cart, the
error may have been caused by something else.
If you cannot continue
shopping, you can place your order by calling our catalog
service department, 1.800.444.2147, 24 hours a day, 7 days
a week. Please let the catalog service personnel
know that you experienced an error with the site.
